Do aliens ride motorcycles?

I stopped in at the Scranberry Coop Vintage Store in Andover, NJ, and saw this unexpected pair of aliens. Seeing as this alien couple includes one assumed to be female who wears a leather outfit with a hat that says “Biker Babe,” it begs the question: do aliens ride motorcycles? One would assume that if they can fly to earth in their spaceship, maybe they would have something more sophisticated, such as a landspeeder and some sort of jet bike. But maybe they do have motorcycles, and they don’t want us to know (since she has her finger up to her lips in the “Shhh” position). If you’re into this kind of thing, you can shop for more of these aliens here.

Her partner is also gesturing with his hand, in this case supposedly blowing a kiss. My question – more so than why these aliens are acting or dressing this way – is why any earthling would want to buy this and have it on display at home? Although let’s give the benefit of the doubt, maybe there’s people out there who collect alien figurines doing unexpected things. You know, that might be a kind of funny collection to have!

That just triggered a memory, I also recently saw some aliens on my visit to Santa Fe last fall. This trio isn’t doing anything funny and have no clothes, but they’re quirky little guys with smiles on their faces. I saw them at the Arte Tlaxcalceta store at 3500 Cerrillos Road (I love this store).

You know, if I didn’t already have a bunch of collections, I might start an alien collection. From the beginning of this post to now, I went from “kind of silly” to “kind of fun.”
